Main Stage After-School Art Programs
Class Schedule 2008
Classes run March - April - May 2008
Programs run Monday-Friday 3-6pm
Bus drop- off available. Snacks and homework help provided
Scholarships available.
Mondays
March/April/May- "Creative Art" w/ Vicki Rose
Students will get hands on lessons in various art projects. Classes will include: painting,
pastels, collage and more
Tuesdays
March/April/May- "Theatre Play & Performance” w/Melanie Linker & Vicki and Christopher Rose
Students will get to learn the skills it takes to perform a full play production. This term's play- Peter Pan. Students will also get the opportunity to design and build the set and learn about costuming and prop making.
Wednesdays
March/April/May- "Dance & Rhythms " w/ Tasha Blehm & Blayne Thieband Students will get to share in a musical jam session with musicians and dance to funky rhythms. Students are also encouraged to play their own musical instruments and learn about different rhythms.
Thursdays
March/April I/May- "Puppets For Parades " w/ Tasha Blehm and guest artists Students will get to design and help build our "creative puppets" to be showcased in the 2008 St Patty's Day and May Arts Festival Parades. Projects include: paper mache, painting, mosaics and more.

Tuition:
(discounts for single parents and multi-family members)
One Day a week: $30/month
Two Days a week $50/month
Unlimited Days (Three or more days a week) $80/month
Drop in Rate $10/class

Programs run from after-school (3:15pm) until 6pm
Students must be 7 years old to participate in programs
Opportunities for performances and parades and art showings for students enrolled this fall 2007 term
In addition to the arts programs located at the center on N Main St, Main Stage is collaborating with the Eureka Internet Hub located on Van Buren. "The Hub" facilitators and owners, Jesse Deerwomon and Karon Reichert have offered students to use their center after school until 6pm Mon-Friday. Bus Drop off is available and students must be atleast 12 years of age to participate in this program. Tuition is $30/ month unlimited days. Additional tutoring for imac, imovie, garage band and more is available for additional tuition. Space is limited!!!
main stage policies
Regular attendance is essential for classroom progress to be made. Students are welcome to make-up classes in the same term by taking any other class, however, there are NO REFUNDS. Parents are informed to call Main Stage if an absence will be expected. Classes will be closed due to inclement weather if the Eureka Springs School District closes. Parents are expected to give the program director, Melanie Linker, written notice if they plan on dropping a child/children from classes or programs. |
